Questions

The things people ask before buying

What exactly do I receive, and when?

A download link by email, immediately after payment clears. Everything is digital — there is no shipping and nothing arrives in the post. If the email has not arrived within ten minutes, check your spam folder, then write to us.

What file formats do I get?

PDFs ready to print, plus editable Word and Excel files where it makes sense — the home-education Education Plan and Records Workbook are both editable, because you need to complete them.

Will this use a lot of ink?

Not if you use the ink-light version, which is the default file in every pack. It is black and white, with no background fills and no decorative blocks. A colour version is included separately if you want it.

Is it really CAPS-aligned?

Yes. We are practising South African teachers and we state the grade, subject, term and topic for every resource. Where a pack maps to CAPS strands, we include the mapping sheet.

Is everything available in Afrikaans?

That is the goal and most packs ship in both. Each product page says which languages are included. Afrikaans is checked line by line by a first-language speaker who teaches the subject.

Can I use this with my whole class?

Not on a standard purchase, which covers one family or one teacher's personal use. For classroom use, buy the classroom licence — it includes reproduction rights and a freshly generated variant set unique to your school.

How do I pay?

Card or instant EFT from your banking app. You do not need an account with us.

What name appears on my bank statement?

Our checkout is handled by Payhip, so the charge may appear as Payhip rather than EduSource Room. Nothing has gone wrong if you see that.

Can I get a refund?

Digital downloads cannot be returned once delivered, so we do not offer refunds as a matter of course. But if a file is faulty, will not open, or is not what the page described, write to us and we will fix it or refund you. We would rather do that than have you tell people we sold you something broken.

Do you collect information about my child?

No. Never. We sell to you, not to your child. We do not ask for your child's name, age, grade or school, and we do not store any. The only personal information we hold is your email address, and only if you gave it to us.

Are the home-education packs legal advice?

No. They are administrative templates made by practising teachers, and they are not a guarantee that any application will be approved. Requirements are set by each provincial education department and change. Always confirm your province's current requirements before submitting.

Are the differentiated packs a treatment for ADHD or dyslexia?

No. They are teaching resources designed with shorter tasks, fewer distractions and clearer steps, based on classroom experience. They are not a diagnosis, a therapy, or a substitute for a professional assessment.

Who do I contact?

hello@edusourceroom.co.za. A real person replies, usually within two school days.
